Purpose of Grant: The Affordable Housing Trust Fund Program (AHTF) is to provide municipalities, for-profit and non-profit developers with financial assistance to advance the development of low and moderate income affordable housing across the State and to maintain those units as affordable for a minimum of 20 years. Purpose of Grant: To identify and control lead-based paint hazards in eligible privately-owned rental or owner-occupied housing populations, and to enhance lead-based paint hazard control activities by comprehensively identifying and addressing other housing hazards that affect occupant health. Dollar Range for Award Minimum: Various Estimate of Total Amount of Funds to be Awarded: $10,000,000.00 Dollar Range for Award Maximum: $1,000,000.00 Allowable Costs: Costs associated with administering the program, including administrative costs, staff salaries and wages, staff fringe benefits, training, travel, space, consumable lead swabs, telephone, postage, office supplies, marketing, liability insurance, audit, lead remediation measures, lead abatement measures, client relocation, and lead assessments. Eligible Applicant: This RFP is open to nonprofit organizations and units of local government with experience in administering lead hazard control programs. All applicants must be U.S. EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) certified firms.
Purpose of Grant: To provide lead remediation and abatement services for low-income households in residential properties with one to ten units constructed before 1978. Timeframe for Completion of Activities: 18 months

National Housing Trust Fund 2027

Purpose of Grant: The National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) is an affordable housing production program that will complement existing federal, state and local efforts to increase and preserve the supply of decent, safe, and sanitary affordable rental housing for extremely low-income households (those earning 30% or less of the Area Median Income as defined by HUD), for a period of not less than 30 years. Eligible Applicant: Fully and partially volunteer fire companies, first aid squads and rescue squads.
Purpose of Grant: Provides low-interest loans (no grants are available) with a matching requirement to fire departments and ambulance/rescue squads to purchase or refurbish vehicles; purchase equipment; and/or to rehabilitate, construct, expand, or purchase associated structures.
